HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Birch Telecom and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on field visits. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
