HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Bright Quarry Energy Partners is an energy provider in Birmingham focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on hardship programmes. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
