HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Fernwood Loom Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around St. Louis. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 70 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on underwriting files. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
