HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Westbrook Ember Housing is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for lease compliance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on lease compliance. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with lease compliance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
