HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Stonegate Summit Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Cincinnati. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on catastrophe response. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
