HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Bright Loom Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Sacramento, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 934 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on tuition and subsidies. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with tuition and subsidies. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
