HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Fernwood Sparrow Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Omaha area, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on outage reports. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
