HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Cedar Cobalt Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Savannah area. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Families are partners. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on student accounts. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with student accounts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
