HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Fernwood Lantern Community Partners Group is a San Jose charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on donor records. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with donor records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
