HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Lumen Ashton Hospitality is a hospitality company in Des Moines with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on reviews and feedback. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with reviews and feedback. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
