HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Fernwood Vale Manufacturing makes precision components in Charleston. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer orders. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
