HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Summit Sparrow Care Services supports families and individuals in New Orleans with personal care and coordination. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on caregiver training. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with caregiver training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
