HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Silverline Union Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Houston region. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on cold storage. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
