HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Greenridge Willow Community Partners is a nonprofit in Virginia Beach supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on food distribution. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with food distribution. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
