HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Westbrook Lantern Learning Group is an education provider in Charlotte serving students and families, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on family communication. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
