HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Fernwood Lakeside Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Miami, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on fleet maintenance. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
