HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Nova Forge Freight is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on dock schedules. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
