HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Harborlight Amber Early Learning is an early-learning provider in San Diego, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on licensing records. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with licensing records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
