HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Stonegate Forge Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Sacramento working with agencies and riders, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ridership counts. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
