HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Amberfield Rowan Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Tampa working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on fare systems. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
