HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Orchard Civic Services and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Benefits and stability attract long tenure. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on case files. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with case files. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
