HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Cedar Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Charleston design routes and schedules, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on accessibility audits. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
