HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Fernwood Rowan Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Cincinnati with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on recycling loads. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Cincinnati. • We reply to every applicant.
