HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Foxglove Thistle Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Portland. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer complaints. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
