HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Stonegate Nest Community Partners is a nonprofit in Phoenix supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on volunteer shifts. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
