HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Silverline Amber Insurance is an insurance company in Grand Rapids with claims and service teams, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on premium billing. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
