HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Bright Vista Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Des Moines plant, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on proofing. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
