HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Fernwood Drift Civic Services supports public agencies in Cincinnati with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
