HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Fernwood Pine Staffing is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client orders. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with client orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
