HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Cedar Lakeside Energy delivers power and gas plans across the San Diego region, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 384 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing disputes. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with billing disputes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
