HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Rivermark Meridian Freight is a Detroit logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on proof of delivery. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
