HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Nova Drift Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Sacramento. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on branch operations. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with branch operations. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
