HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Nova Union Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Providence. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service installations. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
