HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Lumen Thistle Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Spokane and nearby communities. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on meter reading. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
