HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Pike Learning Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Families are partners. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on school calendars. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
