HR Business Partner - employee relations (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Meridian Banking Services and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 634 people based in Providence. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on fraud alerts. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
