HR Business Partner - employee relations (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Cedar Meridian Hospitality and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Guests remember kindness. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on food costs. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with food costs. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
