HR Business Partner - employee relations (Providence, RI)

Cedar Ember Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Providence and nearby communities. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Providence. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on water quality. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
