HR Business Partner - employee relations (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Bright Junction Press and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on proofing. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
