HR Business Partner - employee relations (Providence, RI)

Redstone Vista Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Providence area. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on treatment plant data. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
