HR Business Partner - employee relations (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Cedar Ember Financial and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 162 people based in Providence. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer onboarding. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with customer onboarding. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
