HR Business Partner - employee relations (Portland, OR)

Bluepeak Wren Civic Services is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Portland. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
