HR Business Partner - employee relations (Portland, OR)

Cedar Clear Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Portland, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 108 people based in Portland. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service installations. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
