HR Business Partner - employee relations (Portland, OR)

Stonegate Rook Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Portland and nearby communities. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on pipe repairs. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
