HR Business Partner - employee relations (Portland, OR)

Cedar Haven Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Portland, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on policy renewals. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
