HR Business Partner - employee relations (Portland, OR)

Harborlight Meridian Inspection Services Group tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Portland. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 143 people based in Portland. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on test reports. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
