HR Business Partner - employee relations (Portland, OR)

Stonegate Harbor Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Portland. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We reward reliability. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on proof of delivery. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
