HR Business Partner - employee relations (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Summit Orchard Telecom and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on field visits. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
