HR Business Partner - employee relations (Pittsburgh, PA)

Northwind Cross Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Pittsburgh. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 111 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service connections. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
