HR Business Partner - employee relations (Phoenix, AZ)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Nest Early Learning and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on licensing records. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with licensing records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
